Hair Loss Product Trials
Many people are extremely skeptical about
claims of hair regrowth. Therefore in the past, we only covered products on this
site that had media backing. Yet we receive numerous reports and photographic
evidence all the time from what appear to be credible sources.
A few of these developments look very
promising, so we therefore ask that our members be given an opportunity to test
these new products totally free of charge. Whilst they are getting free
products, we still believe that there should be a financial incentive to report
back their results, so we award a $1500 prize for the best regrowth in the
year.
When trialing a product, we are not
interested in the traditional "white coat" count of an extra 12 new hairs in a
given area. We want you to independently judge if you can actually see visible
growth.

As there are many different hair loss
patterns, we will be using the Norwood scale to rate them. You can select the
pattern that best matches your own and then complete a very simple entry form
(see below).

As there are several types and patterns of
hair loss it is important to select a cross section of sufferers in different
countries to ensure that we have a wide test base.

Examining the results
When each product trial is completed we will
make the results and test data freely available to Hair Growers News readers
(click
here to subscribe). As an existing subscriber, you will be given
this data free of charge. However, in the future other readers may have to pay
for the updates.
We will be using "before and after"
photographs to show the results, but the testers faces will be faded for
anonymity.
Time frame
The product trials are starting in early 2002
and will typically run for between 6 months and 1 year. All of the developments
will be closely followed in

If you are interested in being considered for
the trial, please click the link at the bottom. You will be asked to complete
and submit our confidential registration form, and we will write
volunteers if they are chosen. Please note that if we do not select you first
time around, your details will be held securely and we will consider you for
future product trials (no one else will ever be given access to this
list).

doubt
Our experience of people in the hair loss
market, is that they are often using more than one product. We therefore will
not ask you to stop an existing product, to start trialing a free product - as
in the "real world" people do not usually do this. Similarly if you were to
purchase a product from this site and then be chosen at a later date for a free
trial, we refund the money that you had spent with us in the previous six
months-even if you carry on using it.
